What is ERT Emotional Release Technique?

ERT (emotional release technique) is a unique combination of life coaching and guided imagery. Guided imagery is a mild form of hypnotherapy. This work has also been described as inner child healing, emotional cord-cutting, shadow work, soul retrieval and emotional trauma healing. This technique allows you to release any trapped emotion and give your body full permission to heal and return to its original integrity.

ERT is based on the idea that we are creating our own reality. Once we can fully accept this and take responsibility for everything that happens in our lives, then we will begin to walk in a world free from victimhood and blame.

This technique helps to rediscover the part of the human spirit that was damaged during some tragic event… where a part of one’s core integrity was compromised in order to protect itself while the body experienced the trauma. Sometimes, depending on how severe the impact of the trauma was, that part of the broken spirit isn’t able to fully return back into the body. This happens when we unknowingly give our power away to someone or something. Over time, that part of our spirit that is damaged will continue to try and find its way back home by continuing to create similar situations and emotions as opportunities to reclaim that power back and stop the reoccurrence of the feeling.

Emotional healing is the process of taking your power back from something, someone or some situation and can assist you in permanently healing any past trauma or negative beliefs. Emotional healing happens when the damaged part of the human spirit safely returns back into the body and integrity is restored.

Power loss occurs when there is a loss of personal power. This usually happens involuntarily and as a result, damages the human spirit by creating a negative influence or belief. Essentially, the part of the human self that is designed to protect it will recognize when something traumatic is about to happen and it will leave the energy field of the body in order to maintain its integrity while the body experiences the trauma. When this happens, that part of the spirit may not be able to return safely back into the body depending on how traumatic the event was. This is when power loss occurs.

If a loss of personal power is left unresolved for long periods of time it can manifest itself into physical form creating very serious emotional, spiritual, mental and physical problems including pain, severe panic attacks, illness, and even disease.

Those who can relate to any form of power loss may be able to permanently heal it with ERT, an emotional release technique.

Everyone on planet earth has experienced some kind of emotional upset or trauma and when it is left unprocessed or unresolved it can have a huge effect on your life today. The truth is, it can be healed.

Retrieve the part of the spirit that was damaged during the traumatic experience, and welcome it safely back into the body. This is done through the guided imagery process. In many cases, using this technique can be very successful with only one session. Depending on how long the situation has been left unresolved will determine how far it has spiraled out of control and how it currently showing up in many areas of one’s life. Like the ripple effect, when you throw a stone into the middle of a pond it will create many ripples that move outward. Eventually, when no stones are thrown, the pond will become still again. Power loss is comparable to someone that keeps throwing stones into the pond, not allowing the pond to calm, creating chaos in one’s life. During this session, you will be able to identify where the rocks are coming from and correct it from that point.

The part of the human spirit that needs healing will continue to create situations and experiences in your life to feel the emotion over and over again until it is healed. Healing takes place by understanding the truth of the situation from a higher perspective and offering compassion through forgiveness to any other person involved including oneself. Sometimes it’s also as easy as having a conversation with yourself as you were back then (younger self) and giving him or her permission to heal and release the attachment to the story and the trauma. Only then can you expect to experience that peaceful stillness and balance once again in your life.

Your sister is always bullying you and you really wanted to fight back but you didn’t. By shutting down and not speaking up, you gave your power away to her. Now you create others to bully you into your adulthood.

Your biological father left your mother when she was pregnant with you. Your mother was overwhelmed with feelings of being rejected. The DNA memories passed to you and you were born feeling rejected. As an adult, you create people and situations where you are rejected over and over again. You turn to alcohol to numb the feeling and to ultimately reject yourself.

You develop an autoimmune disorder as an adult because when you were little, you never got the attention you needed from your mother.

You always attract partners who represent your mother or your father. They are just there to help you heal some part of your past that wasn’t resolved when you were young.

You were in an auto accident and saw someone gets hurt really bad. Now you have a fear of driving or being a passenger in a vehicle.

In an extreme case, you were sexually abused as a child and because of that you felt very alone in school and didn’t trust anyone anymore. You became angry. As an adult, the anger turned into a liver or teeth problems and you are still not in a loving relationship.
