Sedona the Land of Beauty and Spiritual Healing

Sedona was founded in 1902 and incorporated in 1988. Sedona has about fifteen thousand residents, this area includes West Sedona, Uptown Sedona, Hillside, Upper Oak Creek, the Chapel area and the Village of Oak Creek. At 4,500 feet in elevation, Sedona has one of the most mild seasonal climates year round. Annual rainfall averages around 17 inches, with July and August being the wettest months. This is also known as the “Monsoon Season.” Average temperatures fall between 46 and 75 degrees, but can reach extremes highs of 108F and and bone chilling lows of below zero.
